Labels: As part of its PRISM program (link) for community wildlife gardens, the Wildlife

Habitat Program (WHP) has created a library of more than 100 plant labels for native plants

species that are showcased in numerous community wildlife gardens across Prince George’s

County, MD and beyond. Each one of these labels highlights a key benefit the plant species

offers pollinators and other wildlife. Painstakingly researched by WHP, these labels have been

beautifully rendered by local artists.

Bi-Lingual Interpretive Signs: As part of its PRISM program (link) for community wildlife gardens,

the Wildlife Habitat Program (WHP) sign library includes more than 100 species labels for native

plants as well as three large, bi-lingual interpretive signs that explain the power of planting for

pollinators and wildlife, highlight key aspects of successful wildlife and pollinator gardening,

and the powerful science of this approach. Carefully researched by WHP, these bi-lingual signs

have been beautifully rendered by local artists.
