From Washington, DC: 
Take I-495 (Washington Beltway) to Exit 15 East, Route 214 (Central Avenue).  After 3 miles there is a traffic light at an intersection with Enterprise Road to the left and Route 193 (Watkins Park Drive) to the right.  Turn right onto Watkins Park Drive.  After approximately 1/2 mile on Watkins Park Drive, enter Watkins Park at the illuminated sign (a right turn).  Follow the drive as it turns right then left and continues about 1/2 mile to a T-shaped dead end.  Turn left into the parking area.  There are signs leading from the parking lot to the Nature Center.
 
 

From Baltimore: 
Take I-97 South to Route 3 South passing Crofton and Bowie.  At Route 50,  Route 3 becomes Route 301. Continue South on Route 301 to Route 214 (Central Avenue) West.  Proceed along Rt. 214 about 3 1/2 miles to the light at the intersection with Enterprise Road to the right and Route 193 (Watkins Park Drive) to the left.  Turn left onto Watkins Park Drive.  After approximately 1/2 mile on Watkins Park Drive, enter Watkins Park at the illuminated sign (a right turn).  Follow the drive as it turns right then left and continues about 1/2 mile to a T-shaped dead end.  Turn left into the parking area.  There are signs leading from the parking lot to the Nature Center.
