6 birders showed up for the trip and were rewarded with a very nice March day. The winds were mild with seasonable temperatures, and the path along the river was not too muddy to travel. We ended up with 40 species identified and 2 more almost identified (some very high flying gulls and a brief glimpse of a swallow darting by stymied us). The highlights of the day were the dozens and dozens of Wood Ducks, and an end of the day look at a soaring Osprey.
